The KLCA Corporate Childcare Specialist Programme is for childcare professionals and entrepreneurs who want to understand how childcare can be planned, built and delivered professionally within corporate and organisational environments. You may already know how to care for children — what’s likely new is understanding what changes when the organisation, rather than the individual family, is the one purchasing the service. That’s where this programme comes in.
The programme covers both sides of Corporate Childcare: the childcare itself, and the business behind it.
On the childcare side, you’ll learn to care for children safely in workplaces, conferences and event settings; plan for different ages and needs; work professionally alongside parents, venues and corporate teams; and prepare for situations that can change unexpectedly on the day — safeguarding, mixed-age care, staffing and capacity, venue safety, risk assessment, sign-in and authorised collection, allergies, medication, emergency planning and professional boundaries.
On the business side, you’ll learn to build the service itself — deciding what to offer and how to price it, creating your Provider Profile, proposals, policies, contracts, supplier documents and business systems, and understanding how organisations buy these services: how to approach potential clients, what needs checking before accepting a booking, and how to take an enquiry from first conversation through to preparation, safe delivery and professional follow-up.

This isn’t a programme where you simply attend classes and collect notes. Throughout, you’ll develop the practical foundations of your own Corporate Childcare service, so you finish not just knowing what Corporate Childcare is, but understanding how the different parts of a professional service fit together.

How the Programme Is Delivered
The full programme is 12 specialist sessions across 6 modules, available in two ways:
For Individual Learners
The complete Specialist Programme is delivered through private 1-to-1 live virtual training with a KLCA trainer, structured as six private 2-hour appointments (one per module), so sessions can focus directly on the Corporate Childcare service you personally want to build, while receiving individual guidance throughout the learning journey.
For Organisations
KLCA also delivers the programme as a private organisational cohort. Organisations can commission the programme for their own learners, participants or aspiring childcare entrepreneurs. Delivery can be arranged:

Private cohort delivery allows KLCA to work with the organisation around its participant group, intended outcomes and programme delivery needs.
Certificate of Program Completion will be issued at the end of the program.

Prefer to Pay as You Go?
Pay-as-you-go learners follow the same six-module programme in sequence. You can progress through the programme at your own pace and pay for your private training as you go. This gives you the flexibility to pay as you progress rather than committing to the full programme fee at the beginning.
